DEWALT Battery Compatibility Guide

All ReliaRoads 20V and 60V tools are engineered to work directly with your existing DEWALT® batteries. No adapters. No modifications. Guaranteed.

How It Works

ReliaRoads tools are designed with the same battery interface as DEWALT 20V MAX and 60V MAX systems. The battery slides on, locks in, and powers your tool — exactly like an OEM tool. The electronics are calibrated to draw power efficiently from DEWALT battery cells, ensuring full runtime and performance.

Compatible DEWALT Battery Models

The following DEWALT batteries have been tested and confirmed fully compatible with all ReliaRoads 20V tools:

Battery Model Voltage Capacity ReliaRoads 20V ReliaRoads 60V
DCB200 20V MAX 1.5Ah ✅ Yes
DCB201 20V MAX 2.0Ah ✅ Yes
DCB203 20V MAX 3.0Ah ✅ Yes
DCB204 20V MAX 4.0Ah ✅ Yes
DCB205 20V MAX 5.0Ah ✅ Yes
DCB206 20V MAX 6.0Ah ✅ Yes
DCB208 20V MAX 8.0Ah ✅ Yes
DCB210 20V MAX 10.0Ah ✅ Yes
DCB240 20V MAX 12.0Ah ✅ Yes
DCB606 60V MAX 6.0Ah ✅ Yes* ✅ Yes
DCB609 60V MAX 9.0Ah ✅ Yes* ✅ Yes
DCB612 60V MAX 12.0Ah ✅ Yes* ✅ Yes

* 60V batteries work with 20V tools but provide longer runtime. They are physically larger and heavier.

⚡ Important Note: ReliaRoads tools are designed for DEWALT 20V MAX and 60V MAX batteries ONLY. They are NOT compatible with DEWALT 12V MAX, FlexVolt (when configured for 54V), or other voltage systems. Always use batteries in good condition with undamaged terminals.

Not Sure Which Battery You Have?

Check the label on your DEWALT battery. If it says “20V MAX” or “60V MAX” and has the standard slide-mount connector (rectangular shape with 3 terminals), it will work with ReliaRoads tools. Most DEWALT batteries manufactured since 2010 use this connector.

Performance Notes

  • Full power output – ReliaRoads tools deliver rated torque and speed with DEWALT batteries
  • Runtime – Identical runtime to OEM tools using the same battery
  • Battery protection – Tools include low-voltage cutoff to prevent battery damage
  • No voiding of battery warranty – Using ReliaRoads tools does not affect your DEWALT battery warranty
